 Silver Eagle Coin Design

American Silver Eagle Coins were redesigned for the first time in program history back in 2021. The redesign only impacted the reverse visual of the coin. While the American bald eagle remains the focal point of the design, the US Mint’s new design strayed away from classic symbol or emblem design in favor of a more naturalistic view of the nation’s official symbol.

All 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins are available here in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Individual coins will arrive in protective plastic flips. For multiples of 20, the coins arrive in a plastic tube. For multiples of 500, the 1 oz coins arrive in a green Monster Box. Each Monster Box holds a total of 25 individual tubes of 20 coins each.

On the obverse of American Silver Eagles, you will find Adolph A. Weinman’s classic image of Liberty. Designed in 1916 and first used on the Half Dollar, this left-profile image of Liberty’s full-length figure is known as Walking Liberty. She strides toward the horizon with her right hand extended and her left hand carrying the branches of oak and laurel. The American flag is draped around her figure.
